In the sauna areas of Hotel Heidegrund, you’ll experience relaxation at its finest. Five uniquely designed saunas—ranging from the traditional Kelosauna to the Finnish and panoramic saunas, and including the gentle bio and salt saunas—invite you to consciously savor the warmth and leave your daily routine behind. Between soothing heat and tranquil retreats, a natural balance emerges that recharges your energy and provides a lasting sense of grounding.

Gentle heat of about 60–65 °C and mineral-rich air characterize the atmosphere of our salt sauna, creating a particularly mild sauna experience. The fine salt-infused air has a soothing effect on the respiratory tract and promotes regeneration—ideal for anyone who wants to enjoy relaxation in a gentle and pleasant way.

Kelosauna

Feel the primal power of Nordic sauna culture in our Kelosauna, crafted from slow-growing Arctic pine and harmoniously nestled in nature. The intense heat and distinctive atmosphere offer a profound, authentic sauna experience—a sanctuary that brings peace and a renewed sense of grounding.

Finnish sauna

In our Finnish sauna, you’ll experience intense heat in its purest form.

At 80–100 °C and low humidity, the dry heat unleashes its invigorating and purifying effects. A classic sauna experience that boosts circulation, cleanses the skin, and revitalizes the body.

Panoramic Sauna

In the panoramic sauna, soothing warmth combines with sweeping views of nature. At a comfortable 80 °C and a humidity level of 10–30%, a balanced sauna environment is created that allows both body and mind to relax. It is a place where warmth and openness are palpable and new energy is recharged.

Rules for Well-Being

To ensure that you and all guests can fully enjoy the soothing tranquility of our sauna area, we ask that you follow the guidelines below.

We ask that you take a thorough shower and dry yourself off carefully before entering the sauna to ensure optimal hygiene and a pleasant sauna experience.

Please use a towel large enough to sit or lie on so that sweat does not come into contact with the sauna benches.

A sauna session lasting 8–15 minutes is considered ideal. Pay attention to how you feel and be sure to take plenty of breaks between sessions.

For a pleasant sauna experience, we recommend that you avoid using the sauna on a full or empty stomach and eat only light meals beforehand.
