A family vacation thrives on everyone feeling completely at ease. Our family rooms provide the perfect setting for this: two sleeping areas, a separate entryway, and the opportunity to enjoy both privacy and togetherness.


As a family-run hotel, we know what matters most: plenty of space, practical solutions, and an environment where children can move about freely.

THE IDEA

Every family travels differently: with different needs, routines, and packing lists. That’s exactly what our family rooms are designed for. Two separate sleeping areas, along with flexible cribs and extra beds, ensure that everyone can maintain their own rhythm.   

From blackout curtains to practical little touches for everyday life, many features are designed to make your stay with children easier. Upon request, we can also provide accessories for preparing baby food or other helpful items for daily use.

FOOD FOR ALL AGES

Start your day with our varied breakfast buffet (fruit, cereal, scrambled eggs, and coffee for parents). On weekdays, breakfast starts at 6:30 a.m. (until 10:00 a.m.), and on weekends at 7:00 a.m. (until 11:00 a.m.). Children 12 and under eat breakfast with us for half price.


In the evening , we serve kid-friendly classics in our restaurant, ranging from nuggets to pasta, or put together custom sides (fries, corn on the cob, etc.) according to your preferences—and of course, ice cream for dessert is a must! We’re always happy to accommodate allergies and special requests.

The area around the Thülsfeld Dam offers plenty of opportunities for a varied family vacation in Germany: bike paths, nature experiences, swimming spots, and little adventures right on your doorstep.

Additional variety is provided by attractions such as the Thüle Animal and Leisure Park or indoor play areas in the region.

There’s always something going on at our hotel and in the surrounding area: from stunning nature and great places to visit to our hotel’s own playground. The best part? Many of these experiences are available year-round—even with your dog, because they’re welcome here too!

OUR CHILDHOOD MEMORIES AT THE SPA

PLAYING IN THE WATER TOGETHER

To allow families to spend time together in the water while still maintaining quiet areas, the spa area is open daily until 3 p.m. for children under 15 when accompanied by their parents. This creates a good balance between family time and relaxation for all guests.
